I was watching sky news at the time when the news flash came on

I was working outside my own office. Hadn't watched TV or listened to radio. I met my daughter for a drink after work. She had also been working out of town and hadn't heard the news. She went to the bar to buy drinks and came back telling me that the tallest building in the world had been blown up in the USA. My initial reaction was, 'That must have been one hell of a bomb, because the tallest building in the world is in Malaysia'. (The Petronas Tower).
My second reaction was, 'Oh ****, well let's hope the USA go it alone on this one and don't try to involve other countries.' Some hope!
The next day, I was also working externally. I got on a bus in the rush hour. It was packed like sardines, but I saw an empty seat, next to a woman wearing a head scarf. So I went and sat down. She didn't look like someone who would have a bomb in her shopping bags, and if she had, I'd rather be killed instantly.

I had the tv on childrens programming for my 1 yr old. My sis called me from 1/2 hr away and said a plane ran into the WTC. I said no way that's wierd didnt' they see that huge building? I turned on the news intime to see the second one. I said oh hell no. That's NOT an accident. The sad thing is 2 days before I had ear surgery and this day "I could hear better than I ever have in my life" the draining was done and my hearing was better. Too bad I heard air planes flying and thought I was done for. Then my sis called back and said those F*****S just got the pentegon. So yeah. I then sent hubby to store "So I could bake something" I baked 5 loaves of bread 2 batches of choc chip cookies and a sloppy pineapple cake. Neighbors ate good too and I hate to cook. lol apartment got clean too. Then I gave blood next day.

I was at school. I'm not sure, but i think everybody went home. I was too young to remember. I saw the tape of it once I was old enough to understand. And now I'm crying. I don't want anyhting to happen today. And when i think about the people that died, I was just sad. I heard a story about a guy buried in ashes on a high foor. When someone was trying to find their way out they found him. and they walked down. they survived. they said it was reli dark. today i was getting home from a movie and i asked my mom about 9/11. she's a nurse and she said that people were unconscience during the attack, and she remembers them waking up after all that happened. I felt lucky. On that tape i saw a couple years after 9/11 i just remember a person looking on at the towers. i dont remember what she looked like. i just remember her in a way. it was really sad. =[[ my mom said she thought it wasnt big bc small planes always use to crash into the towers.

I had started in a new company and was being given an overview of some of the brands by the Marketing manager. We where in the company restaurant where there was a TV on. I saw the plane hit one of the towers, realising I was ignoring her, she turned around to se what I was watching. We sat there for a good hour.

Getting the children ready for bed. I hadn't heard about it till early evening but put tv on for the early evening news. I live across the other side of the world, but I knew of someone in NY at that time and was frozen to the spot as I knew they were meant to be starting work around there. It turned out they'd had breakfast in one of the towers the day before. There is not one person on the entire earth that wasn't affected that day and even today it is impossible to even touch on the torture inflicted on the families and loved ones left behind.

I was setting my alarm clock to go to bed when I heard a man speaking frantically on the radio like a scene out of the old radio hoax, "War Of The Worlds", so I turned back on my TV and there it was. I saw the second plane hit the tower live from an oncoming angle.

I was working in a butchers shop as a shop assistant and one of the lads had the radio on upstairs, he came down to tell us there had been a plain acident in america. It was hard to imagin that a plane could accidentally hit a skyscraper then the other plane hit and more details came out and people started talking about a world war 3

I was at work (used to work in a shop) My husband had just got in from work and put the telly on. He rang me to tell me what was happening as we had no idea. I ran to tell my boss. He went to the upstairs flat and watched it for a bit then came down and said we should all go home which suprised us all at the time because he was an exceptionally nasty and uncaring person. It was about 4:30 I think. I just remember feeling quite sick and scared, I think we all did. I live in England so I can only imagine what it was like for the people of New York.

I just asked this question, so I'll answer for you! I was asleep and had just turned on the tv after the first plane had hit. (it was 3 hours earlier here) I watched the second plane hit and since I was laid off from work I stayed home and watched the coverage all day. I still get sad watching it.
