Purely based on box office collections, the top five movies of the year so far are: Krrish, Fanaa, Rang De Basanti, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna and Phir Hera Pheri, in that order.
Lage Raho Munnabhai (LRM) has seen amazing collections and is sure to cross the business of KANK (and maybe others as well) but it will happen over a period of time. Dhoom 2/Don/Jaaneman are other movies expected to do well this year.
Based on ROI (return of investment), this is the criteria the trade uses to determine the fate of movies, the top 5 movies this year are: Krrish, Fanaa, Rang De Basanti, Maalamal Weekly and Phir Hera Pheri with Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna coming in 6th (due to high costs associated with the movie). Here also LRM is sure to make a dent and emerge among the top.

lets face the fact... in year 2006 the Bollywood world did not create any good movies at all though some stupid movies such as Krrish where Hritik Roshan is seen jumping in my sort of 'hometown' [ because i live there and still am not a citizen] Singapore..... there are no good movies so how come there can be a Best movie? the Bollywood world is heading no where ....

its Rang de basanti and munna bhai..I cant choose between the 2.. Golmaal was also good and by the way i dint like Kkrish at all
