I live in Luton so I can tell you that to get to the centre of London you need to get a airport shuttle bus to Luton Parkway Train station, then from there you can buy a train ticket to Marble Arch or Oxford Circus. The train from Luton Parkway will go to either Kings Cross or St Pancras train station and from there your ticket will enable you to get the underground to Marble Arch or Oxford Circus. This is the costlier option and take about an hour journey time in total at a cost of about £11.50 single and £22.40 return.

SO I would recommend going to the bus stops just outside the airport [bays 10 -12 ]and catching the 757 coach from Luton Airport to Oxford Street/Marble Arch. The coach journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs about £10.50 for a single ticket and £15 return and you can buy the ticket on the coach!

For an even cheaper way to get to the centre of London from Luton go to: www.easybus.co.uk [ EasyJet's bus company ] and you can book online for journeys from luton airport to central london for between £2 - £8 but make sure you don;t go above the luggage allowance or you'll have to pay for an extra seat!!

There are good train and coach links to London.

The train takes about 40 minutes normally.

First Capital Connect operates a fast, frequent service direct between central London and Luton Airport Parkway train station. Luton Airport Parkway is around 35 minutes away from King's Cross station.

When you land at London Luton Airport, catch the free Luton Airport shuttle bus from outside the terminal at Bay 1. This will take you to Luton Airport Parkway station in around 10 minutes where you can catch a First Capital Connect train southbound into London and on to Brighton.

Getting to cetnral London from Luton is very easy. ONce landed go outside to the railway shuttle bus, its free and it takes you to Luton Airport Parkway rail station. From there there are trains about every 8 to 10 minutes to King Cross in central London. The train takes from 22 minutes using the Midland Mainline service or 35 minutes using First Capital Connect Services (formerly Thameslink).
There is also the Greenline coach servcie which is a regular service to central London but this can take anything from one hour to 4 hours depending on the time of day and how bad traffic is running on the motorway!!!

Hi!

Luton is quite a long way from London - it's like somne of the other airports around the world which are no-where near where they say they are!

It will take around an hour on the train to get from Luton to Central London

You can get a train very easily from Luton airport into central London, the link is very easy to find, just ask airport information to point you in the right direction.

Luton has the best links of all the London airports really. The train goes into Kings Cross but also crosses London, finishing in Brighton. Links to the Midlands are very good too. If you want to save cash there are coaches into town as well.

Go straight out of arrivals and there's a free bus right in front to take you to Luton Parkway train station. From there, trains are fast to London King's Cross.

There is a high speed non stop rail link from Luton Airport into central London. Euston I think. Or Possibly Liverpool Street.

If you mean the farthest: - London Regional Airport that would probably be London Southend Airport - UK airport from London then that would probably be something like Aberdeen, Inverness or Belfast - airport in the world to London that would be somewhere like Auckland, New Zealand.

The harbour-side city of Auckland is New Zealand's true town and the vivid economic center of the nation, know it with hotelbye . Auckland can be referred to as the "City of Sails" and it sprawls out in helter-skelter style between Manukau Harbour (to the west) and Waitemata Harbour (to the east) with the small key city district proper near the waterway. For most readers to New Zealand, Auckland is the point of arrival, and a few days washing up the social and outside attractions here must be on every tourist's to-do list. The monuments, museums, and art galleries listed here are a few of the best in the country. The suburban coastline of the city is speckled with fine beaches, and the hawaiian islands of the Hauraki Gulf provide a style of New Zealand's spectacular national park scenery right on the city's doorstep. Auckland is definitely a city worth seeing.
