Al-Qaida No. 2 al-Zawahri issues video

CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida No. 2 Ayman al-Zawahri called on Muslims to step up their resistance against the U.S. in a video aired by CNN early Monday on the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

"Among the devout group which responded to the order of Allah and order of his messenger were the heroes of Sept. 11, who wrote with the ink of their blood the greatest pages of modern history," the narrator said, referring to the hijackers who flew planes into the Pentagon and World Trade Center.

Heros save innocent lives, not plot to eradicate them. The hijackers might be called martyrs, because they died for something they believed in (however erroneously), but they are not heros.

Just regular people who were going about their day then found themselves in a nightmare, they and the rescuers are the only hero's. Al-Qaida or what ever they are calling themselves are nothing but sludge I won't use the vocabulary necessary to describe them further. I would need a big bar of soap and a millennium of forgiveness if I did. God Bless the families, this day I remember them they are heros for having the courage to go on after the most horrific day of their lives.

what happened on 9/11 was tragic, very tragic. and i do not think that those who did it are heroes. They are not heroes but cowards. who killed innocent people, without any reason.

What was the fault of those people who were working in the trade center? what was the fault of those people who were on those fateful planes. The guys who flew those planes in the pentagon & trade center, did they saw that the people sitting in the plane were including kids and ladies and incoent men.

Did they checked that when they are flying those planes, there was no muslim that was working in those places and no muslim who was on that plane.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

The hero's of that day were the firemen and woman, the police men and women the ambulance service and medics, the ordinary person who tried to help another. The passengers and flight crews on the doomed aeroplanes...... I spell this out to you in no particular order as it is so obvious that you need it...
