There happens to be this pretty and shapely girl bang opposite my window, and for past 5 yrs. or so, I have been simply looking at her. Since the beginning, even she seems interested, but I'm not sure what's in her mind. We've only formally spoken a couple of times. The thing is, I'm very much sure that she's not the girl I'm looking for. I wish to know whether this thing is right.

There's no harm looking but it may make her uncomfortable or read your intentions wrong so you may give that some consideration.

Dude, forget all the nay sayers! They don't know what they are talking about. If you were creeping her out, she would have already moved out or called the cops.

5 out of 10 cases like this, the girl is interested but is embarassed to make the the first move.

If you think you can create a relationship with her whether as friends or more, then try! Just don't tell her you've been "looking at her from your window, frequently for the past five years." That'll just freak her out.

Also, don't mention the "pretty and shapely girl" attributes until you are actually friends. You don't want to come off as "shallow" even if you are. Hehe, just kidding.

Good luck dude! Make it happen!!!

Surely that is close to stalking?

You need to make sure that this does not turn into an obsession -five years, yikes!!!

If I were you, I would make the first move. Just do the neighbourly thing & ask her if she has any sugar/coffee,tea bags, that kind of thing & that will start a decent conversation (she might even offer you in for a coffee).

How are you going to know her felings unless you start a conversation.

Stop being such a big gilrs blouse & go over there today. You are only asking her if you can borrow something - where's the harm in that?

Go for it & good luck :-)

If you're sure she's not "the One" then look elsewhere. You're probably creeping her out. Five years is a long time.

Why is she not "the One"?

If there's even a chance, ask her out. The worst thing she can say is, "No" and you'd be no worse off.

Good luck.

Here's a shocking answer for you: Imagine you are this girl. A man who has never introduced himself keeps peeping through your windows. He seems to be watching you, wherever you are.

How long should you wait before you call the police?

Go talk to her man. I'm a girl and I would be creeped out. Sorry but that's just me. I understand if your shy and what not but go talk to her even if it is silly like coudl I borrow a few teaspoons of sugar for my coffee or a cake you are baking. you could offer to share w/her when you are done. ;)

Definitely, no harm done by just looking.
If by looking gives you pleasure then by all means. You won't give trouble to anyone. It only gives you trouble if you were to do the peeping tom.

she probably thinks you are weird because you keep looking at her. you'll never know if she is what your looking for unless you get to know her. there is nothing wrong with just looking though if you don't want it to go any further. as long as your not stalking her.

You wont know until you talk to her and give her a chance to reveal her personality to you.
