I wonder, because they seem so popular. I'm a liberal myself and very much opposed to the US government, but these theories seem to stretch it all a bit far. Take the supposed 'controlled demolition' of the WTC. Windows blow out before the roof comes down, but why can't that be caused by the immense pressure of falling concrete, and gas/water and electricity blowing?

If all US politicians tried to conspire to find their own backside with both palms, I think they would hide their faces behind their hands.

But surely they could have controlled the resulting demolition a little better...

Some people think that Roosevelt knew about the attack on Pearl harbor in world war two, and that he let it happen so we could get into the war, and others think that we started trouble with Mexico just so we could steal Texas from them. And some think that bush blew up the twin towers on 9/11, but i don't believe any of that at all. You would have to be a madman and not an idiot to do something like that, Bush is an idiot but he is not crazy.

Liberals will blame Bush for everything from gas prices to the cost of hookers on Las Vegas Blvd.

The Internet has spawned some pretty wild conspiracy sites, and it doesn't take long for lines of easily influenced wide-eye morons to accept them as Gospel. I mean, people still believe the Weekly World News is a legitimate source of real news.

As for the "controlled demolition" issue, if you look at the other structures that came down with the twin towers, you'd see it wasn't so "controlled". It looked like it on TV - which is another reason conspiracy retards perpetuate these things.

It was a conspiracy...but not one carried out by the US Government.

I am not buying the "pancake" theory that an office furniture fire weakened the steel. Neither jet fuel, wood, plastic, or paper will get hot enough to melt steel. Even if the floors above the fire collapses, the center core structure would still stay intact.

Yesh, that's a little too far stretched if you ask me. We should be proud that we think for ourselves, and not following every stupid policy the government takes out but 9/11 conspiracy, that's just being crazy....
They are popular because the people are quite angry with what's going on and they are fast to believe anything that will make this government look evil.
Heck, some people still don't believe we landed on the moon, that it was a conspiracy from the government at the time to beat out the Soviet Union... go figure!

Well obviously the clever chap who created and built these towers thought of everything when he done it. I dont know what to believe but in watching the tv programmes on it, I am just so upset that it happened even though America had enough warnings but I still blame the airline for allowing those men through. Thats my opinion anyway. To some it may be wrong but thats my point of view and on here we are all entiteled

My nephew was in a car accident and the papers made up so many lies and got the stories so wrong about it. The sad thing is 2 of his friends died in it and they got names & facts wrong..I don't believe half of what i watch on tv or the news anymore. They are either making up stuff or doing cover up's. I seen it to much to not believe it.
