I have recently felt slight discomfort in my wrists. I play guitar 2-3 hours every day, plus work at a computer. I have anticipated potential wrist problems, I take seven seas cod liver oil plus a mutlivitamin every day. I also recently invested in a wristrest for computer work.

Can anyone offer any additional advice to keep my wrists healthy in the long run, as I aim to play music professionally.

Thanks

this may be carpal tunnel syndrome, i suffer from it also. there is a simple operation you can have to correct it called carpal tunnel realease. do you get tingling in your fingers? go and see your gp and see what he says. if you plan on a proffessional career playing the guitar then i am guessing it would be a good idea to get it sorted early on.
Good luck with your wrists and your career!
