Well, your question is actually an invalid statement which, in itself, proves the importance of education. Your flawed logic is trying to trick the viewer into thinking if you use spell checkers you will be able to spell correctly.
This is completely bogus!!
A person's ability at successful and comprehensive learning is strictly based upon the individual level, everyone is different. One is unable to spell correctly not because they don't want to take the one second to deal with the spell checker, but is in large part due to a magnitude of human traits, foibles, desires, interests, pride so on so forth.
I, myself, like the idea of my words being read as I intend them to be read, leaving less of a possibility for misunderstanding, so I like my words spelled correctly...so I spell check to confirm.
Then there are those who couldn't care less...and I agree with their reasoning as well...drop the holier than thou, I'm better than you attitude...did you get the gist of what I said or not? Take it for the intent not for the absolute, once you've figured that out then get over yourself. Very solid logic and simple to understand. If you can't deal with reading misspellings then don't attempt interacting with those who don't really care, cause you'll be in a constant state of irritation.
"To get to MY point" simply quit judging others' values, abilities and interests and rather appreciate the interest others have in interacting with each other and broadening their views and knowledge of the world surrounding them.

1 Spell Checkers don't always work (like Yahoo!Answers' for example)
2 Spell Checkers do not flag valid words used out of context:(Their are two apples on the table.)
3 Some people might not be aware their typing is off, and so do not spell-check
4 Some people would spend too much time spell-checking, and might not be aware of the correct spelling of certain words
5 Some people don't think it is important to spell correctly, so do not put in any effort to do so.
6 Some people just cannot be bothered to spell-check.

Don't start me off ! The number of times i'VE HAD VIOLATIONS ABOUT THIS IS INCREDIBLE - because when I tell them that they're writing rubbish, they report me for "insulting" them or something - which really DOES worry me..... (and you can knit fog). People who simply CAN'T BE BOTHERED to spell check or proof read are doing nothing less than insulting my intelligence. Why should I have to translate what at times is utter drivel into something that is understandable before it can even be read, let alone understood? And when you complain, you get inundated with pitiful little remarks like "get a life" - which, strangely, always seems to be spelled correctly - probably because it's one of the few things they know HOW to spell!
So, (and now for it - wait for the reports to go in!) in answer to your question, they're just too lazy to use the spell checker or read through what they written/typed. and PLEASE don't give us that rubbish about being at work and having to do it quickly - it takes but five seconds to read over AND spell check, and what's more, if they're at work, then they shouldn't be on Q&A in somebody elses' time anyway. If I catch any of my employees doing anything on the net - MY net, MY PC, MY time - they're OUT, and if more empoyers took this line, a great deal of this rubbish would never be generated. I've finished.... this time....
...and I pass no comments on the difference between "ate" and "eight" except to say that they're two different words, each with its own meaning and each spelled correctly......

Because spell checker doesn't always work.
Type this sentence>>>>>>The dog eight the cow.
It should have been >>>>>The dog ate the cow
Do a spell check and it will tell you "No misspellings found"

Wot yu torkin about... I kan spell pefektlee...
If they use a spellchecker, its because they are not perfect spellers, and if they dont, they are probably not perfect spellers but dont really care if it irritates you or not.
Either way, many people are unable to get through a long sentence without some form of grammatic mistake, its no big deal unless you are an anorak with compulsive disorders

The problems are:-
Some are using working hours to type for some people and they are on a quickie so they don't bother to check their spelling
Some just cant type properly cos they need typing lesson
Some they cant see clearly cos it already late at night and they are very sleepy

I know. But, why do people keep asking this question? We have identified the problem well. Now, what is the solution. I don't know how it could be made any easier with the spell check. Ideas??

Well, spell-checkers make the situation worse, not better! Why bother to check your spelling, when a spell-checker will do it for you?
