I've already gotten him to do so once, and he seems to enjoy it when I do so to him, but... he won't do it again. I've asked and he said he would, and we have the resources, but he hasn't.

start waving a knife in his face and demand to tie you down or just threaten to cut his manhood off i know i would do it. BUt instead of tieing yoou down i would recomend you having sex with blind folds on one person at a time it will make you do crazy stuff. The sexfreak will come out this way. Even try buying a new shower curtain and the ky warmsensation jelly. The curtain lay it across the bed and then put a bunck of the jelly on the curtain and tell him to rub you with it and then you rub him. Belive me it will get crazy . I m sure that you friend found some thing he didn't like it in your body or your way how did you deal with him
try to set with him and ask him if there is any problem or any thing which irritated him

Probable make him feel unconfortable.....If you "set the stage" properly and he does NOT do it....Then it is NOT in the cards. If you "force" him, it's not goingto be right. If it is THAT important to you, then you have to move on.....

maybe he isn't the domineering kind and he is uncomfortable about it...
maybe he prefers to be the one tied down... ;)
you need to be more assertive!!! and talk really dirty to him about what you want and how...
