I often ask myself what I would have done if caught somewhere in one of the towers on that horrible day. Would I have jumped from high up there like some did, or tried to find my way down like others did? That must have been something so terrifying to be caught in there and having to take a decision like that!...That's what heroes have to decide. Just the thought of it makes me sick. What about you ?

If I was on the upper floors, I probably would have jumped. Those people made that choice because they were literally cooking from the heat of the exploded planes. You naturally do things to avoid pain, even if it means jumping to your death. I do remember reading an article where a doctor said that falling from that height meant a painless death on impact. I guess that's the only consolation you could get from the tragedy of that day.

Try to think of all the other people in the world that end up on deaths door every hour on the hour. Thats really sick. Yeah it probably was terrifying. Horrible. Sad. lonely. all around shitty. What kind of question is that? Why would anyone want too imagine themselves in that situation.

I would have tried to get out, helping as many people to do the same as I possibly could have. In the event that there was no way out because of fire and the possibility of being burnt alive I would have jumped.

I would have started telling the other people trapped in the building about my religion in the hopes to save a few more lives before our tragic end.

That question has popped in my mind a few times and I have now come to the conclusion that it doesn't bear thinking about. All those people must have been so frightened.

omg. ive never thought about that. im super afraid of heights. my stomach hurts now. we have forever to make this decision since it prolly wont happen to us. but they had a split second. i have no idea what i would do.
