Yes, I do. I moved from the East Coast to the Mid-West, and I often feel as though I've moved to a different country. It's a weird feeling to live in a place where you know you should belong, yet you don't even speak the language.

And I miss the ocean.

No. Then again, maybe I haven't been away long enough to get homesick.

A former friend of mine got homesick all the time. She even got homesick after 2 days away. That's reason for therapy, I think.

If you get homesick after a month or so, and you don't really like being away - I'd say you're only human.
The sort-of-cure for it is making a place comfortable, homily for you, even if it's only a hotel room.

I joined the Navy a month after high school and so yes I have gotten home sick I was in for four years and been home 2 months in all I miss family but love making my own home for myself and husband

Yeh sometimes i can go on holiday n get really home sik 4 a couple of days it's so annoying but after thats gon i get 2 enjoy it!

Yes, on Sundays usually, because that was the day that my family used to spend together, and now I live miles away from them and I miss that!

a lot of times maybe if im just away for a few days i may miss the comforts of home then again i may not..it reallly depends where im at and who im with
