Borderline schmaltz in itself, but used in a very powerful way by a New Zealand Telecoms ad I saw - just family snaps of a boy progressively growing up with his Dad, from a baby, to a teen, to a young man, then, as a grown man, suddenly appearing alone in the photo.

I guess the ad made the song for me, not the other way round.
