my point of view- long story...
United States Of America. The land of oppuntunity.
I dont think anyone has forgotten 9-11. However I think many forogt the why, including myself. On that day- they made a statement. A statement that should have never happened. It was inhumane and unjustified.
Since that day it has always come to mind that they diserve revenge. But myself- I am better then that. We are at war. A war to defend our freedom.
Our goverment has decieded that they are the ones who need the help. Millions of dallors to support the structuring and devolpment of there country.
From what I understand we are basically at it alone. Though there are a few other supporters- it doent compare to what we have givven.
WHY, WHY WHY
I think it will repeat itself. However were not at that point yet. Were are still dealing with the initial blow. THey say our country is more secure.. Well is that because nothing has happened yet. I say put a very very long wait on imigration. Screen the visitors, put them on a waiting list and really check them out. Nothing has changed with foreign imports.
off the subject:
As a child I was amazed with disaters. The power outage just a few years ago- pointed out some very strong weaknesses.
Just last week we lost power at my work for 3 days. They only had 1 flashlight and emergency lights and phones for 3 hours. They have 125 hotel rooms. This effected 12 other hotels in the area. Noone knew what do to, no staff trained or even much common sence about it....
My point. What if something truely happended that affects this country for a long period of time. We are not prepared by no means.
How many people actually know what to do with out lights, phones or a car. Just recently they have comercials about the emergency kit and what to do... Well what wOuLd they do. WHat are they prepard for...
I could go on for ever!!! Time to go back to work
GOD BLESS US ALL.!!!!! ALWAYS REMEMER, ALWAYS!!!

The media has forgotten 9/11 in order to publish their own propaganda. Rick Rescorla informed the Port Authority in 1990 that the WTC was open to a basement attack via a van with explosives. Then 1993 happened.
Rescorla had his friend Dan Hill, ex Special Forces, do another investigation. They believed the next attack would be by airplane.
This was in 1993...Mosques were infiltrated...
This doesn't make the media...because the truth
hurts. History can't be found on tv...history does not repeat itself. The main characters are always different & there are new surprises...

No one has forgotten 9-11, silly.
I do wish the GWB administration had re-read history of the European Reformation, in particular how Spain brought itself down by getting over extended both militarily & national debt in the era of the "Spanish Armada" & the forays into Flanders & the Netherlands. Very scary parallels.
Looks like we're on the way to repeating that piece of history.

i guess most people forget about it as in they dont talk about it anymore but of course deep within them they know that it did take place. but it will impact more on those who lost their loved ones on 911.
i dont think we can entirely forget the past. we just dont think that much about it as time goes by. well if you make a point not to repeat the same mistake, you wont.

no you are not. But you cannot live in the past. Keep you memorials and your day of rememberance but live in the now for the rest of the time.
South Africa (well a portion) of the population lives in the past and as a result we are struggling to deal with the issues facing us today.

Yes....should we forget, we a bound to repeat it. And I think people want to put it out of their memory. We have lost many in the war, but if not for them and Those who Serve, we would loose many more.....
How do you all support our Troops?

think of it as 1933.
in about 6 years all hell will break loose
because china and russia will appease iran.
like the british did to avoid war
it didn't work.
need i say more?
