Do you really think we are all lumberjacks and maple syup producers?

When/if you come here do you bring a fur coat even though it's mid July?

Do you expect to see Moose in the streets and Eskimo's building igloo's ?

How many of you have actually been here?

I think more of us have visited the US than you in the US have visited Canada -

I have no statistics for that but if you were here in mid Feb Florida and well anywhere in the US looks real good to you and sudenly it;s worth the plane fare - So I think I am right

Honestly dude there are no Canadian stereotypes, except maybe the Mountees. Okay, and those damn French you call Quebecans. Or whatever you call them. Most Americans couldn't have less interest in Canada. I don't think Canada has any interest in Canada. The problem is that you're too well adjusted. Everything is always fine there.

I acctually live near, and attend schools with a bunch of Canadians, so I know more about them than most poeple from the U.S. and yeah I've heard its cold. But I don't think the moose thing is a common prejudice.

I honestly don't know of anyone who has the stereotypes you suggested. I've been to several Canadian provinces, and just loved them all. Quebec was very different from Ontario which was different from Alberta, etc. There were no stereotypes that I came back with--just great memories!
