First I want to reply to people that think the Taliban are not to be reckoned with anymore. Had we "stayed the course" in Afghanistan they wouldn't be, but the US got sidetracked and as a result the Taliban and frankly, Al Queda is as powerful there now as they were when the US started "the war against terror" which as we know isn't a war against terror or we wouldn't have let the Taliban and Al queda get back the sheer numbers they have in force now. And unfortunately as conspiracy theorist as it sounds, I'm pretty sure The big guns are saving the next big attack to take place about 2 weeks prior to the next election (Senate and House) that way they can "save" us from the terror that Democrats would subject us to. For me personally the fear going on is not as abstract as a Muslim definition of heaven and hell vs my own, but the thought of human destruction being used as a political ploy to engage Republicans in another term, so they can do their pork barrel schemes, sign their shady back deals, cavort with their rich buddies providing the vodka and hookers, while signing multi billion dollar deals to clean up the mess made oh so conveniently by the same people who are cavorting with the hookers! And for you republicans who are about to say really awful, yet illiterate things about me, two words :"Duke" Cunningham...

It's hard to think of Bin Laden getting off another attack on the scale of 9/11. First off, the US is much more on guard for terrorist attacks (the next guy that even tries to hijack a US plane will have fifty passengers willing to beat him to pulp). Another is that Al Quieda is based overseas, getting operatives into the US would be hard. Another is that the Al Quieda leadership is being hunted, much harder to organize when you're on the run.
As for the Taliban, they don't have any access to weapons of mass destruction. They don't even have access to armored vehicles. The closest threat in that arena would be Iran who now can make nuclear weapons, but it's unclear if they would give them to their traditional puppet organization, Hizballah.
And yes, worry more about your rights that are needlessly being eaten away by the Bush administration in order to fight "the war on terror". The most effective changes have not taken many rights or invaded any privacy of the average US citizen. But Bush keeps pushing for more.

When you give up your rights for "security" then
you are already dead; a slave that is. Security
is Swiss Cheese...we can never have 100% security. Yes there are those who HATE us &
want to kill us.
Yes, we will have another attack that will give us Martial Law.
However we also have the threat of becoming
enslaved via our technology. One World Government or as Bush said New World Order.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have riots which forces National Guard & Army Troops into our cities.
Will Martial law save us? That is the future of this divided country. We will fight the Muslims forever...while becoming more enslaved for
"security."

I think Bin Laden is planning a all out bombing spree on the US as early as New Years Eve. I think they are going to attack bridges across the Niagara gorge, Hoover's dam, LAX, the under water tunnels in the US as well as the one in Detroit/Windsor area. I can also see the CN tower in Toronto laying on its side within a year.
I am not a terrorist supporter, I believe that they sould be tossed out of an airplane at 5,000 feet with no parachutes over the ocean when sharks are feeding. Or put them in a remote control plane and fly it straight towards the space....let them burn.
But I can see things happening in the next year.

You should be more afraid of our government.
When has anyone warned Americans to convert to Islam? And don't we warn Muslim countries everyday to become democratic? What's the difference. The Taliban is old news anyway. You have been brainwashed, obviously that's how I see it.

Man, OSAMA will not bomb nor attack your country, until your government finds it usefull, it will be the time when the dolar will get again weekm when people will start oosing their jobs, when prices will flutuate, when patriots will open their eyes and say no, when, when, when.
There are many reason, the government is just waiting to get the signal from their barometer or scale of missmanagement just as in 1999-2001

Organisations are never without oppostion. Osama's organisation won't be either, therefore if he's not already dead I'm sure another organisation is waiting in the wings to kill him and perhaps get a better place in heaven.
