She wishes sometimes that she didn't have me. Why would a parent be so cruel?

Your mother should have NEVER said that to you even if it is how she felt.

She may be under great stress. She may be overwhelmed by things in her life. At any rate a parent, mother or father, should never say such a thing to thier child. Mine often told my that also, and I have never forgotten or forgiven her. I do love her still, dearly, but will also not be guilty of the same. Also I will never allow my wife to say such things either (not that she ever would). I have my responsibility to my three children and deal with what I need to in order to provide for them. They are all dearly loved. They were not planned, but never regretted. They are truly a blessing in our lives. Sorry you had to hear such from your mother. I wish this for no one. Maybe you could talk to her about it sometime, when all is well and let her know how it hurts you. Anyway good luck and may you find peace and happiness in your life.

Wow,man, thats sad.Im sure that she is actually just emotionally confused and is taking her frustration out on you. If she was to analyze her feelings im sure she'll realize its not you,but other problems in her life!Pregnancy can also be a very emotional thing for some women.My advice: Dont take it to heart, im sure she loves you and unfortunately she's taking OTHEr problems out on you. You just keep being a good kid. Even though it sometimes feels like you are being the mature one.

Zack how often have you said something in anger just to release those pent up feelings but later regretted it and knew you didn`t mean it we all do. Thats what your Mum has done I bet if you sat down quietly, just the two of you, and said to her how much this hurt you she would tell she was sorry and didn`t mean it and possibly would not remember saying it. What sort of trouble were you in that day anyway, lol? Good luck Zack.

I hear that all the time from my mom and dad, but thats only when they see my school bills and shopping expenses =)
Hey some time they allow them selves to be stressed that they need to put a blame some where and they put it on the things or persons that cannot return it on them or retaliate. Dont sweat it.

my mom tells me i was a mistake so what I did i moved out as soon as possible now the lady cant stop calling me. To move back in. Just show them you are responsible and you will see who has the last laugh........

it is not a shot on you personally. she had many feelings about your father, the birth pains, not to mention the expense and work involved to get you where you are. many parents feel that way but not because they don't love the child. there are many other factors too.

She may have psychological problem , or maybe she has not learned to be a mother , or she can not be a mother .Anyway each of us have deficiencies in some aspects maybe a psychiatrist can help you .

Please don't listen to that. She doesn't know what she is saying - and I am sure she really doesn't mean it. This may sound crazy - I don't know you - but I love you!:) There are many people that do - one day you will meet someone that will love you very much.
