It depends on whether I agree with it or not, of course.
The funny thing is, unless we've had direct (and clearly positive or negative) experience on a certain issue, none of us has any idea why we feel one way or another about anything.
Do you like tomatoes? Do you think [some movie star] is attractive? Do you believe in God? Can you explain why you believe those ways? Maybe you can, but your explanations will mean little to someone who feels differently about those things.
Everything we think, believe, and do is determined by our subconscious brain activity. We have a social habit of considering the conscious mind "who we are"---but our conscious minds are more like the displays on computers. They don't control our subconscious programs---it's the other way around: They just show the output the programs send them. They're output devices we use to interact with other subconscious minds.
So if it's all subconscious (beyond our awareness), why do we have so many opinions? Because we have many, many ideas of what constitute pleasure and pain, and those two things (seeking pleasure, avoiding pain) are what motivate us to think, believe, and do everything we think, believe, and do.
Which makes me suspect that if there's a God, She must have a great sense of humor. :?)

Well, I am not clear on the meaning of this question, but I will try anyway. I think you meant "an" instead of "and." Well, you have to one of the two....but I bet you are asking why would I do either in any given situation...so, if the argument is sound, there is logic to it, and the person is sincere, I would be more likely to accept it. If, on the other hand, no matter how hard I try, I cannot see their point of view as valid, I reject it.

Because I have a thought process and I can decide what's right or wrong in by best opinion and due to current studies or popular knowledge.

Well it has to be the type of argument at hand, if it's a stupid trivial one. Why bother?
