Global warming is being put forward by reactionaries under the liberal banner specifically to provide an agenda to the Demoratic party in counterpoint against the terrorism issues at hand, so it looks like you at least made a rational association there, even if you were irrational enough to buy into it. The planet is warming up in a brief trend that will predate the next ice age. Ice ages come approximately every 10,000 years, and the last one was 10,000 years ago. Maybe we should heat things up a little faster, to counterpoint the frigid cold in its imminent approach?

You are so Right-On ! But, here's the Problem. All Gasoline Powered Vehicles in the USA from 1996 to the Present are Required, under the EPA-OBD II Law to Run at 14.7 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel.Any Deviation from that, even if Fuel Economy is Improved, and Emissions are Lowered, will result in a Failed Vehicle Inspection ! Really ! Under this Insane Law, it is Entirely Possible to Fail a Vehicle Inspection for not Emitting enough Pollution ! 1996, now, let's see, what Administration was in Power when this "Brilliant" bit of Legislation was Enacted ? I Guess that would be "An Inconvenient Truth" ? I Tried to Contact http://www.climatecrisis.net No Reply ! Why, Al , Why [Not!]? My Point is This; See My Avatar ? It's a Photo of a Device that I have Constructed that Safely converts Regular Pump Gasoline into Propane. 100 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel . I've Lit it on Fire to Prove that it Works ! "Flick" Your Bic, and Look at the Color Spectrum of the Flame ! It's the same ! This is Proof Positive that Gasoline, Butane, Propane, are all the same ! Perfected, this device could enable even the largest SUV to get 50 + MPG, & Emit 10 X less Pollution ! And it's Illegal to even attempt to do so on any Vehicle 10 Years Old, or Newer ! This is Insane ! I'm not the first to figure this out . Go to http://www.fuelvapors.com and find out what happened to [the Late] Tom Ogle. He was Offered $25 Million to Keep His Fuel Vaporizer off the Market. He Refused. He's Dead ! Also, go to http://energy21.freeservers.com/bookrep.html This is for Real ! What can We Do ?

While polution does need to be controled, the "problem" of global warming is no where near what the liberals would have you think. Most of the theories of global warming are just that theories...there is hardely any scientific fact that in next 20 years or so the ice caps will melt and life on this planet will end. We should be far more concered with Terrorism that global warming...

I believe that Global Warming is a natural event and not necessarily a man made problem. We may not help the problem but it would have happened anyway. It's happened before and will happen again in some distant future. They now think that was a precursor to the ice age of a few thousand years ago.

You're absolutely right. If the same resources and mobilisation could be put into positive reconstruction of the western economies as is put into destructive wars we might be able to deal with the global problem of climate change. If we were to do this, it's likely that since our transformed economies would consume the earth's resources less voraciously and that as a result many of the causes of so-called terrorist activity would disappear. We definitely need a pro-planet, pro-peace democracy - that is the real pro-life movement.

I say we should adapt and evolve with the climatic change. But I'm sure machines will succeed us by then, thriving in the polluted environment we will create and expanding into outer space.
