A persons race should never come into it. It should always be about what kind of person he/she is on the inside. That's what counts.

If I was lucky enough to find the right person, I wouldn't care what colour their skin was.
Don't listen to all the racist remarks - they're just jealous cos no-one will go out with them.

Good luck for the future.

dating or marrying out of your race is ok and it's everyone's choice. as long as they love and respect each other, it wouldn't be a problem at all. although the cultural differences might be a barrier but most of the time, that's the reason why people get attracted to one another. love strikes to anybody where ever we are no matter the reason is. even how diverse people would be, we still have the one common word that any race could understand... it's love.

We are all one race - the human race. My husband is also puerto rican (looks more black than hispanic) and I'm white, btw, out kids are beautiful too.

For some reason I have never dated anyone who wasn't white. I don't see any problem with mixing. Race or age shouldn't be a factor on who you love. I've been attracted to many guys who weren't white.

Love chooses you. You don't get to choose who you love. That was on an episode of Nip/Tuck. I liked it and thought it made sense.

i think, so long as the two of you are in love, share common interests then #$$%^ everyone else... I think its actually fun to date out of your own race, that way u learn more about other cultures and lifestyles...

its just a pity there are still so many shallow minded people around that then want to stare and point fingers and just cause unecessary hanna hana..

Yes, I don't think race should ever affect your feelings for someone. I've always dated outside of my race and dont understand how people do think its a problem. If anybody does, the hell with them cos you got something wonderful out of it... your son.

iwould never date someone whose out of the race to death. the living are all in the race! skin color and heritage are not a race, that is what makes us who we are. we all have a common bond, we live one heart beat at a time. then the mind gets in the way of most. life is what happens while I'm thinking. I prefer to live.

Inter-racial marriage is very much OK. It deepens the gene pool for succeeding generations. Healthier more hardy children is a common outcome. Be sure of your and your potential spouce's commitment to a lifetime with you as well as their love. Then go for it.
