First of all, your spouse did not cheat on you with your best friend. No friend would do that, let alone a best friend. And now I will tell you what I did when that happened to me. After I considered a confrontation I decided I could do better than that for sure! I looked at my spouse under the bright light of once a cheater always a cheater. I thought about that for a short while and realized you can't keep what you don't have so I went and filed for divorce. Until the papers were served I was so sweet that you would not have recognized me-mor thoughtful and kind that I ever was before just so spousey would feel the heel of the shoe as hard as possible when the court did the boot. And after court I shook my ex's hand and said :Goodbye, it was nice knowing you" in a soft and convincing tone. If that didn't mess with that jerk's head, I don't know what could. When the other party found out and called asking me why I did that, did I want them to get married or what? I said sure-enjoy-once a cheater, always a cheater-goodbye. Seriously THAT IS what I did and I am glad.

I would have only married my wife...if I love her truly & deeply..
SO if she has cheated 1st I will talk to her & ask why she did it...
If she has a reasonable answer I will think twice about it..whether if it is a one time accident or a deep routed thing...
If it is one time never repeat & regretting thing I will forgive & forget that incident & be more loving to her, so she will never think of doing a thing like that.(but I will surely drop my friend cause he is not a friend anymore)
BUT if the reason is deep routed & repeat type I will wish both of them good luck & do a clean break!

I truly wouldn't know what I would do as I've never been in that position but hypothetically speaking, if my husband cheated with my best friend, I would probably dump both the husband and the friend and move on with my life.

at first I would hurt, because I would feel inadequate, but then I would get excited about finding someone who is just so much better for me than that skank and her idiot of a loser boyfriend (who is probably cheating on her). So many women, so little time.

Depends if you have kids or not. I would be soooooo upset and angry. I'll dump my best friend cause he should have known better not to do anything hurtful to me. I'll try to see if I can work things out with her.
