from where? Ok, from Virginia. The price certainly could go up, but I would look for a fare sale. You picked a good time to go, last week of August and September. I've seen fare sales as late as the first week of August from Dulles airport to Hawaii for travel during that period. More recently, I haven't seen the bargain fares during that time. It is a gamble. You could wait for a lower fare at the risk of the fare going up. If today's price is affordable and you definitely want to fly on the dates you chose, then you can buy the ticket and not look back. If it is not affordable, or you are willing to risk that you will be priced out, i.e. you are willing to not take the trip unless the fare is a bargain, then you could wait.

Did you try Safeway? Are you military? Can you get on a base to check the commissary? I had to look it up, I didn't know what it was, but I bet the commissary on Schofield, and Pearl Harbor would sell it. They always have a couple isles devoted to delicacies and foreign foods.

I'd call and ask at Diamond Head Market and Grill. They have quite the selection of unexpected foodie goods.
