Any ideas on English competition in high school?

Literary, musical, art, quizzes for my ESL students...

How about an English speech contest? Or, divide them into three and let them make a TV commercial. Give them a piece of paper with 8 boxes, two rows of four, they first draw what will eventually be filmed, you know, just like a real CM or film draft.
