Why don't you watch a medical show? They show them all the time on the Discovery channel. Some of them are really interesting.

They clamp the major arteries that must be cut. That stops the blood flow. A lot of operations nowadays have a lot less bleeding because of modern techniques such as keyhole surgery.

They use clamps on major arteries but most bleeding is not sufficient enough to cause major complications. Also, since most people are under anesthetic, heart rate is usually low as well as blood flow, thats why when people have accidents and go into shock its usually because elevated heart rate and loss of blood.

well when they cut you open they also have other tools doing other things as well' like say they cut you open and the blood stars what happends is they have this tool that burns the spot and stops the bleeding if its heavy bleeding they sew it.

they use a codarizer its like fire almost that burns the arteries so they dont bleed to death.thank god huh
