most christian traditions teaches that God will bring someone into one's life to love and to marry. Why would God have brought this man into your life if he didn't want you to be together?

however if this is going to be a point of contention and stress for the rest of your lives you may want to seriously discuss some of the following...

How will your children be raised?
What are the tenent of both of your belief systems? (I think you'll find that most major religions hold the same things true)
How will you honor both your heritages (holidays etc. you can't roll your eyes during his celebrations and him at yours)?
How strong are your individual beliefs? (Manypeople are raised in a religious tradition that becomes part of their identity however they may not even believe in it when they sit down and think about it)

You love him for who he is not which religion he is. If you love him for who he is than you would not care if he's christian or not. This is like an example of person of color. Would you not marry a person based on the color of his skin?
I've been in your shoes before...My husband is Catholic, and his parents wants him to marry someone who is Catholic or convert to Catholic. I, on the other hand am Buddist. We still learned to compromise and got married. I took classes to understand Catholic and go to church with him on the holiday. My husand worship my religion w/me on my holiday. You really don't have to be one religion to be happy. Just learned from each other this will make your relationship stronger. Don't let religion get into your love for one another it's really not the worth it.

Many millions of people, including those of your religion, have done it before. God prefers people to be in love and in committed relationships. F*** social stigma, be a big girl and take the leap. Go ahead and LOVE someone who is not of your religion. I think God will reward you in the long run.

Forget your traditions. Let love fill your life, not a bunch of church heads. You can stay true to your beliefs and marry someone that doesent have them as long as your open about it.

i'd go and marry him already!! if u really do love him you may never find another that u love more than him... and if u don't marry him u could regret it the rest of ur life... God, is understanding and kind - marry the man!

wish u the best!

if you love him and he loves you and you can accept and respect each others beliefs then you should beable to get married and not have to worry. I know lots of Christians that are married to people of other religions.
or just dont get married it measn nothing anyway. if you love each other its not going ot change anything. just a piece of paper

Love transcends religion - just focus on your relationship. Marriage is not a major part of life any more, being together is...

Non religious here... go for love.

But in your case, it depends on how strongly you believe whatever you believe. You don't want to marry and then resent him for who he is and whatever he believes. If you can allow him to believe differently than you, then go for love!
