The Body Shop

Tea Tree Oil products came out not too long ago, prominently from stores like The Body Shop. I, myself, was introduced to it by my sister who had acne problems. I didn't have acne but I loved the extremely tingly sensation it gave me plus the after effect of the Tea Tree Oil Face Cleanser.

Have a look at some of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Products:

I highly recommend you try some.

Tea tree oil is a yellowish green-tinged essential oil with a fresh camphoraceous odour. It is taken from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia which is native to the northeast coast of New South Wales, Australia. The oil is claimed to have beneficial cosmetic and medical properties (including antiseptic and antifungal action).

The term "tea tree oil" is somewhat of a misnomer since Melaleuca alternifolia is a paperbark rather than a tea tree (genus Leptospermum). Tea tree oil should also not be confused with tea oil, the sweetish seasoning and cooking oil from pressed seeds of the tea plant Camellia sinensis or the tea oil plant Camellia oleifera.

Tea tree oil is extracted from a fine needle like leaf which grows from a paper bark tree. That grows in the sub tropical forests of Australia. One of the largest producers is Thursday Plantation. Its used as an antiseptic.

It is Tea tree oil and there is no doubt about it. You can get it from Kerala Tea Development Board, Trivandrum. If you are in Delhi, please visit Kerala State Emporium in Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place.

Tea trees are small bushes. These bushes are periodically pruned to get fresh leaves. The tea tree oil is extracted from the pruned leftovers in Kerala.

Go to any vitamin store or holistic store and get some. It is kinda strong so ask them what you can mix it into if you are using it for a sore muscle rub which it is great for and so many other things. Even grocery stores have it in the "natural food"aisle or if there is a "Wildflowers" near you try there
