I saw a spider on my patio screen on the inside that looked like a hobo spider. Now I'm afraid to go to sleep even though I killed it. Should I be afraid?

Well, not really as long as you keep your house in the inside clean, and remember to use insect sprays such as Raid. You might also want to go look for stuffs that can kills bugs outside from entering your house (OSH is a good place to look for).

Spiders are every place right now! They come inside this time of year so they can winter over. The ants will find someplace to be dormant for the winter...but they'll be back!

I wouldnt be afraid but at this time of year insects and yes even mice tend to start looking for new residences for the winter.
I usually use a bug bomb (insecticide) in the fall to make sure i dont have any little critters living in my home rent free. My cat usually takes care of the mice.

It may be winter outside, but it's not winter inside your house. Handle the problem now or it will continue through the winter.Check your local garden center for advice.

Yea, um only if there is more than one. FLIP spider and insects die or hide in the winter. If they hide, it will be in houses! So yes, they will be there if they are already there. Buy spider repellant
