Each PDA phone, also known as smartphone, has its own operating system (OS) with its own pros and cons. There is no easy answer to your question. Some smartphones take better advantage of its OS than others. I would recommend the Palm Treo line of smartphones or the Motorola Q. The best solution would be to find a carrier that you like, and see which smartphones they have.

There are only 3 mainstream OS for PDA phones each having its own strength and weaknesses. The 3 OS are Windows Mobile (O2, Dopod), Palm (Treo) and Symbian (Ericsson, Nokia).

Decide what you want features you want for PDA phone and then match this against the features available for each of the OSes.
