Yes, eyes of a lighter color are naturally more sensitive to sunlight. That's why darker skinned peoples, who also have more pigmentation in their skin to adapt to more sunlight, have evolved darker eyes.

I'm not sure about blue eyes but your probably
just sensitive to sunlight.
Maybe you should go see a Optometrist, they
can give you a better answer than we can!

My ex boyfriend, who had AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL blue eyes was insanely sensitive to daylight. He wore sunglasses all the time. It always made me mad, since I loved gazing into those.
So, yes. They are.

My eye's are sensitive to light also...makes me sneeze.
Wear sunglasses and become nocturnal....works for me

no kidding ladymarmald, i have been known to squint my eye too when sneezing and sometimes i even shut them!
