Any one know how I can stop/get rid/delete/terminate DrWatsonsPostMortemDebugger? Its driving me crazy! Argh!!

I cannot seem to find any solution to get rid of it. Every sight I've found makes it seem like its protecting my computer from bad programs. I am affraid its damaging my computer some how and letting viruses and infections in

Dr. Watson's is NOT damaging your computer.
It is telling you that something is WRONG with your computer.
It usually shows up when there is an application crash. Its job is to record data about application crashes to a file, so that the file could be uploaded and included with bug reports.

Just to let you know, Dr.Watson is normally good thing to have running. It's used to debug problems with your computer at a developer level. It's not damaging your computer or letting virus in. There is most likely another problem with your computer that's causing the crashes. If you read the message windows in Dr. Watson, it will tell you which program is causing the crash.

If you want to turn it off, you'll have to edit the registry. Always backup your registry before making any changes.

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
