Not really possible, I'm afraid, as the order in which the messages are displayed is entirely determined by the mail client that your recipient is using.

Wait a minute, either I am confused or you are. The Messages that you send go into the Sent Items Folder, not the In box. The Messages that you receive go into the In box. In hotmail, in the in-box, one of the columns is labeled date -- it may be the same with Yahoo mail also, take a look. If you click where it says date, you can bring your most recent e-mail to the top. I think you can probably do the same thing in the sent items folder. Yep I just checked. Simply click on date at the top of the column and the last item you mailed will come to the top.

You have to figure out how to send the message and have it show up with a future date. At least that's how all the spam ends up at the top of my inbox anyway. ;-)

you use your mind powers to see when your friend is going to open her inbox. then you quickly send the mail before she opens it and taa-daa your mail will be the first one that she sees.
