There are animes with strong story lines, with good characterisation and etc. My favourites are many for e.g. Bleach. I like it coz of its story line & good characterisation. Every character has its uniqueness in one way or the other. My most favourite characters are of Ichigo, Rukia, Urahara and Chad. The character of Ichigo gives me courage and strength to deal with odd situations as if they are nothing more then daily life minor obsticals.

Berserk:I love the fight scenes and the way Gatsu is jsut accepted even though he's a loner. It gives me hope.
Chobits:Chii is cute and the way she always calls Hideki a pervert is funny funny funny!
DNAngel:Actually only watched the first episode but Dark is so cool and Daisuke is just so cute! Krad also looks awesome.
Flame of Recca:Hanabishi Recca is funny in a way it's addictin.
Chrno Crusade:I love how even a demon can be fighting for good.
FullMetal Alchemist:It just attracts me like a magnet how two boys try to rectify their mistakes that were made out of love.
GetBackers:I just love Ginji and Midou Ban!
Gravitation:It's just so funny!
Loveless:Ritsuka is so cute and he's a loner till Soubi comes along.
Naruto:One of the funniest things I've ever seen!
Tokyo Mew Mew:Kishu is my favourite!
Vandread:Males and females living on different planets and finally meet? How can you not love that adventure?!?

Now a lot of people would say that Inuyasha isn't any better then those shows, and the might be right on the surface, but I can see a lot of stuff underneath the *** grabbing and osuwari face plants. I love the deeper emotions that can be pulled from below the surface if you think about what it might be like to walk in Inuyasha shoes. That's why it's my favorite, but I know that I can't keep him forever so I've been looking else where for my next all time favorite.
I'm leaning toward Ouran High School Host Club. Its shojo again, but for some reason it just seems lighter then Fushigi Yuugi. You watch Ouran and your laughing so hard you butt falls off and then they sneak in a little bit of serious thought, and just when you think its ok to take it seriously they blow it all out of the water with more slap stick. So that’s why I love it, its just funny.
I've watch lots of anime sense I got my own computer so I would be here all night trying to remember all the ones I've liked and why I liked them. So I gave you my current favorite and the one that will probably take my puppies place.

Hmm I love Bleach- fighting, storyline, Blood, Swords, Rukia, Ichigo, Isshin, Uruu what more could you ask for.
Fruits Basket - Tohru + sexy bishonen is there anything else.
Hell Girl (Jipargu Shoujo) the art is beautiful and the storyline is interesting.
Unihabited Planet Survival - really great show everyone should go watch it now.

My favorites include Fullmetal Alchemist because of the action, captivating storyline and the little shots of humor.
Another favorite is the entire Ghost in the Shell franchise because of the action and the suspense.
I really like Hellsing.....Alucard is a complex character. Is he a bad good guy or a good bad guy???
I also like Bleach..good action, interesting story and some of the humor (like the scenes between Ichigo and his father).

My favourite animes are Naruto, Shaman King, Fruits Basket, and Hunter X Hunter. All these anime have interesting and exciting storyline. Especially Naruto!

Dragonball/z/gt is the best of all action anime.It`s about a gr8 story and many different characters.I love goku,vegeta and #18. They`re funny and cool.Although yugioh`s not that bad.Duel monster is a very interesting game.

Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist, Vampire Princess Miyu and Bleach.
They all have awesome storylines, terrific characters and really make you want to watch them again and again. Yesh.~ They rock. <3
