Find someone like me that doesnt take well to things like that. I would kick his a s s for you! I cant stand how people can be towards each other. I am very against abuse and I always stand up for those who cant defend themselves, despite the cost.
So yeah, just get a guy to help you out by giving him a solid punch that he wont forget in a hurry! I dont like violence, but some people never learn without it!

kill him, if anyone laid a finger on my children i would hunt them down and inflict my own justice. Nobody has the right to hurt a child even uncontrollable children. There are ways and means. As for you i suggest you do get the authorities involved as he would/could do it agan maybe worse! I don't really know what to suggest bu t Iwould not sit and do nothing. He needs punishment. I am presuming this is a man partner. But if it was a women no questions asked your a mother you have maternal feelings so do what you feel is right pull the *****'s hair scratch her face hurt her so much she will not be mistaken what she has done.(by the way I don't agree with violence)but when it comes to innocent/niaive people involved i can't sit back and do nothing sorry)

You MUST inform the authorities. You owe it to your child, to yourself and to other children.
Now that you know that your child was hurt by an adult, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE. Call the cops and get the proper authorities involved. If you don't, and you think you can handle this on your own, not only will you fail your child, you will fail the children he will hurt in the future too. And best believe he will hurt other children. Call the cops a.s.a.p. You owe it to your child and to the other children he will most definitely hurt.
Even if your child is 24, the right thing is to look out for them and fight for them. And don't let any feelings you may have for your ex stop you from doing the right thing. He obviously wasn't considering you when he attacked your child.

Is the ex-partner male/female?
If it was me, (I'm a mummy) I would kick her ****, if it was an ex-male partner I would have my brothers,cousins,uncles kick his ****!!
I wouldnt put up with it, no person should be attacked in spite of someone else... does that make sense?
He/she shouldnt attack your child no matter how old or young he/she might be in spite of you.
Just make sure the ex is really scared so that he/she doesnt involve the authorities...get what I'm saying???

Involve the authorities. Don't be a sucker for abuse, and don't set same example for child (4 or 24).

It depends on the type of attack. If your child was hit by an ex, unjustly, then you need to make a decision about your relationship with that person.
if your child was sexually abused, sorry you need to call the police.

They're dead - instantly on the spot no questions asked. A neighbor attacked my wife once, she (neighbor) went sailing over our front fence. She decided not to press charges as she should never have been on our property. Only time in my life I attacked a woman.
Hurt me all you want, just don't touch anyone I love.

I would absolutely involve tha authorities.
No-one can be allowed to get away with assaulting another no matter what the victims age.

There's no other option. You're already admitting in the question that you're not going to do $hit so stop asking people to help take the blame for your inability to act. If you won't deal with it properly and you know it then pray to your god that you won't got to hell. If it was my daughter, no matter what you mean by "attacked" that person would be dead, period.
