They could care less. I've written several letters to my congressmen and never gotten back more than a form letter. Washington is full of greed and incompetence, and we need to vote them out and get fresh blood in there, and get out the "good 'ol boys". The people in there now owe too many favors and their votes are for sale like candy bars in a 7-11.

The satraps, those rich and powerful that comprise the American political aristocracy care little for a free society which does not serve them.
It’s the reckoning to which I speak, when individuals that have long supported the satraps and their agenda become disenfranchised and join the ranks of the non believer’s in sufficient numbers to drive them from the throne.
Their day is coming.

Congress and the entire US government is totally and absolutely out of control. The only time Congress heeds the people is when it helps get them re-elected.

Yes, they do listen. At least I get responses from my letters. Even some out of my state that I've written to. Petitions are good to.
