When I studied hymen.I suffered alot of troubles.I practised masturbating for about 3 years nearly once per month without introducing any thing in vagina just by rubbing & that time I didn't know it's illigetimate in religion & it happened all by chance.Now I quit that bad behaviour,but when I heared that it may affect my hymen I got obsessed & I tried seeing my hymen several times,but every time severe pain ensues & I don't know for sure if it was there or not.I see in the vestibule of vagina small opening anteriorly which is the urethra of course & behing it is mucous folds to nearly middle of vestibule & then a space & then a small septum but it's transverse & not longitudinal & most posteriorly there is a hole.I have some q is what I see my hymen?2-will it bleed with 1st intercourse when I get married?as it's a problem here in my community if the wife didn't bleed 1st time,this means she is guilty &had other relations.how can i know without seeing a doc it's still there7how to self

I know it can be broken by other ways but is it for sure can't be broken by just stimulating external genitals?And if it were to bleed,will it bleed if a part of it was torn like e.g posteriorly& believe me I put mirror infrot of me & I struggle until I see the folds I mentioned.Didn't I mention that I'm in faculty of medicine 5th year&I know well structure of this area.

Dear you. Stop fretting. If you just masturbated just by stimulating your external genitalia you have not lost your hymen. I highly doubt that you can use a mirror to find it either, YOU MIGHT BE BREAKING IT WHILE TRYING TO FIND IT! Many women lose their hymen or part of it if they use tampons, or sometimes if they are very athletic, some dont even have much of one.
Please do not worry about it.

Your hymen is to far in for you to see it.
It might bleed it might not the first time you have sex. It all depends.
It doesn't need to be sex that breaks it. It can break during sports and horse back riding. Gymnastics is also a way for it to break.
And you wouldn't be able to break your own hymen with fingers and what no. Its elasticy, hence why you can wear tampons

You can't.
And *if* you don't have one, don't worry. Many things can make it break, like bike riding. Plus many women aren't born with one.
And no, they don't always bleed when broken.

If there were no opening at all how would your monthly flow manage to exit? If you are this concerned go to an OB/GYN and have it checked.
