Tricky one - if i knew at the time i would have tried to do something i think any one would have but if you are asking if i could go back in time and change things - then i would say no - if it didn't happen there it would end up happening somewhere else to hundered of other innocent people - it was a wakeup call with a very expensive cost.

There isn't any "letting history go forward".

If a person could have prevented it then history would have been different, that's all.

Changing history wouldn't be like trying to change the orbit of something in the solar system (which would be tampering with Nature). History is nothing more than what people have created, and creating something different five years ago is definitely something I would have done.

Most of us know evil when we see it. Most of us believe we should try to stop it if we can.

If I knew we would be attacked on 01.09.11, I would have tried to stop it.

There is no such thing as letting history go forward. History is not written until it has happened; nothing is inevitable (except death in the end, but that is not the same thing).

This would be my response because it would be the only sane and civilised response to such knowledge

Of course I would try to stop it.
A call to the airport would have done it.

History will always "go forward."

No need to kill a lot of innocent people and ruin the lives of the ones they have left behind.

I could never have sat back knowing that thousands of innocent people would die that day. I'd have surely tried to do something to stop it. History is only a recording of what has already happened...it's for us to define with our actions. We do not have to ever sit back and 'let it go forward' blindly.

CC is an idiot! And , what middleaged man in his right mind would even ask that.. Only a homicidal maniac who agrees with the monsters that organized this horrid atrocity could keep quiet about something so demonic.

Had i known, I would have killed every Saudi Arabian I ever met while in Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm! I watched with sickness the bodies dropping from the WTC and seethed with anger that I could not have killed more radical muslims than I did during Desert Storm!!!!!!!

Good question
I would publically write about my thoughts and share my beliefs.

If I were wrong so what, I would rather be wrong than sit back if could help by sharing.
The only way we can help is by sharing, and then pray we are wrong, and that our words are seen or heard
