Yes, if I know my life is already in jeopardy and I have a very low chance to live, I would definitely fight my life and the lives of those around me.

Yes, because since 9/11 we know that terrorists are serious in what they are capable of doing with the plane. The people on the plane will probably die anyway, but at the least we may prevent more unnecessary deaths of others.

I ain't scared of nothing except really fat chicks and a shortage of beer. I would have to say I would arm myself with what ever i could find on the plane and start kickin asz. I think others on the plane would jin on your side once the first attack was made.

Pakistanis are not center eastern, in spite of the reality that maximum are Muslim... many of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi, yet they did not represent the Saudi authorities. Being Saudi, they were Muslims. besides, Osama bin encumbered suggested that he despatched them with the intention to make Islam seem reliable.

I think it's easy to 'say' that we would, but we don't really know how paralyzed we might become in a life/death situation like that. I'd like to think that I'd do about anything to try to survive, including taking the hijacker down.

I doubt if a hijacking will ever happen again - at least not like what happened before. If it ever happened on any plane I was on, I'd make them wish they hadn't.

I used to always say that if anyone tried to take my pocketbook away from me I'd let them have it because there wasn't anything worth getting killed over in it. One day someone tried to grab my bag, and I was all set to fight for it. Besides being ready for a fight, I made sure I looked this guy in in the eye and got a good description of him and his clothes. He ran away, and later I realized that I hadn't done the "wise" thing; but it was instinct and anger that made me forget what was sensible and be ready to fight.

It is always difficult to know for sure what we'd do in a crisis, but I'm thinking fighting would be the instinct. You can reason things out and weigh the consequences of taking action, but when it comes down to it there's that instinct that just makes you fight for what is yours (which could be your own life).

I wouldn't know unless I was in the situation. I think this is an impossible question to answer, I think most of us would like to think we would do something, but under such extreme circumstances humans become unpredictable.

Best wishes to all our American friends, my thoughts are with you. Best wishes for your aniversary from Australia.

I'll put it to you this way ...if I had been on one of those planes, It would have taken MUCH more than a box cutter to bring me down. I would have killed each one of those rag head sons of bi-ches and eaten their livers with some fava beans and a nice kiante'
