instead of having the words so close
like this
when you double space it should look like this
ex: you find the double line in the format tool
bar after you press that then go to paragraphs
then hit spacing then after that look for line
spacing then after that it will say single in the
box next to line spacing then hit the arrow next
to the single and then it will say double hit that
then all what you wrote will be doubled spaced
but DONT FORGET TO HIGHLIGHT WHAT
YOU ARE TRYING TO MAKE DOUBLE
SPACE it it wont work
well good luck

Double line spacing is the line space setting you would use to insert a blank line between two lines of text, usually in a word processing program.

When you type a Word document in microsoft word, there is no gap between lines.
when you go to tools-format,you'll have options to specify the seperation between individual lines. 1.5,double spacing are all options that are present in the menu.
Double spacing gives a double line gap between every line.

Its when a line is left between your sentences.
There is an icon on your short cut bar in word, it has a little arrow pointing up and a little arrow pointing down and five lines next to the arrows.
