India is a **** country today because it is runned with complete democracy, so is America. The thing with democracy is that the governance of the country is determined by the people, and this is good if the people are intelligent. But no. The problem with democracy is that if the people are all selfish bastards and stupid, then like democracy goes, majority wins, even though majority is stupid. Dictatorship, to a certain extent is needed to run a country, Asian societies especially. You run society with too much democracy, it's gonna break up and its civilization would crumble sooner or later.

no.

never a thing in this world will always be bad nor good. change is constant.

im from the philippines, although i have not witnessed the world's first 'people power', i've had the experience of observing 'people power 2' in the philippines, and what i'd say with it? it also hurts the economic and political stability of the country.

democracy is not always good, for the decision of the majority is not always correct and serve the interest of the general public.

Quite frankly, no. In some ways it is not good. But it the best available way to govern mass amounts of people. Man is probably incapable of being contained by laws. But its the best way at this moment.

Yes, I certainly like democracy.

We abuse it sometimes... BUT

Nothing beats willingness to do things rather than someone breathing down

your neck all the time.

Kinda like when you tell the kid I prefer for you not to do it...

and the kid willingly choses not to do it even if you are not looking...

to me that pleases me more rather than the kid following me just because...
