That's a good question. I would say, be alone and be filthy rich, and become even richer. Another "Love of your Life" will come along. There are plenty of fish out there swimming around, just waiting for someone like you.
But if the "Love of your life" won't take advantage of the fact that you are filthy rich, maybe you could consider that, depending on your age and how much he can and will help your financial situation. Make sure he works and earns money to take care of you. Make sure he isn't marrying you for your $$ and don't ever let a man take advantage of the fact that you have $$ because he may only want to use you and when the $$ is gone, he will be too.
Personally, if you have a question like this now, it means you aren't sure about life and what you want to do. That being the case, I would wait a while before doing anything.
Wait maybe six months and if you decide on being with him, go ahead and do it. But Honey, be sure.

Definitely to be with the love of my life and poor. Having someone to give you love and affection means so much more than being filthy rich and buying stuff that only makes you happy for a few minutes.

You seem to have been literally brought up on a diet of Mills and Boon, which can be very injurious to your mental health !
The 'filthy rich' are NEVER left alone - even if and when you desperately want and try to be !
With riches, you may not be able to buy happiness. But you can definitely buy-off unhappiness.
The so-called 'love of your life' will only seem like just a 'sad and bad dream' when you're rich.

be with the love of your life and be poor. I wouldn't want to be rich and die alone. Although I wouldn't mind being filthy rich, money is not everything. Money is the rule of all eviel.

Money won't buy love and eventualy you'll realize that being filthy rich is like being poor emotionaly... make sure he/she is worth it and then commit but in any case you should know wealth doesn't bring happiness in fact more often than not it brings a hollow feeling of loneliness.

Your question shows scarcity-thinking. You should be asking: "How can I be with the love of my life AND be very rich?" Answers that may then come up are "work as a team to gain richest because 2 know more than one."

This is obvious. I'd rather be dirt poor and madly in love with someone who felt the same about me than have money. Money doesn't buy love. Money buys nose jobs and boob jobs and the possibility of a one night stand with a sexy stranger, but it won't wake up next to you and nuzzle you awake. Love, baby. Love all the way.
