i dont know if i need a cd rom or somthing it says it cant find the software or something, is there some way i can just download the pics from my phone??

You need a software that recognises the Mobile phone on your PC.
Samsung provides you with a CD ROM when you buy the mobile to PC USB cable. Unless you have that software from the CD installed,you won't be able to recognise the phone from your PC even after plugging it to the USB bus.

Go to the samsung web site and search for the device driver and download and install the same. Plus you require the cables to connect to the computer if they are not available contact the seller and get them.

If you're using windows xp connect your usb cable together with your camera (should be open) to the commputer. windows will automatically recognize your device (camera). something will pop up at the bottom of your commputer as if configuring the computer and your device. windows will show you what to do from then on. read the instructions and in no time you'll be downloading your pictures in your computer.
