For screening test that requires stool sample, it usually requires collection of stool sample the night before or the morning of appointment. What happens if there is just no urge to pass stool at these times?

contact the office and explain it to the nurse.
I am sure they will let you know what to do. (before your appointment)

Don't worry about it. You can always do it later & bring the stool to the lab or the Dr's office. An an office RN, I can tell you that people do that all the time.

So you are having some constipation problem. I have problem too. Sometime only 1-2 a week and then my friend recommend me some fiber products. I took it once and it works miracle. Hope I can help if you write to me, I will give you some to try out.
