Depends on what you mean by unforgivable. Generally everything can be forgiven, but the worse it is, the harsher the consequences. It will be better in the long run if you get it over with, dragging it out will only make things worse. Confess what you have done to whomever you wronged. Ask for forgiveness, and then take your medicine like a man.

I believe that no human can do something truly unforgiveable or which puts them entirely beyond redemption.
If you have done something really bad, work on making amends to the person or people you have hurt, work on forgiving yourself, and work on moving on. Be the best person you can be from this day forward.

I suppose that would depend greatly on whose forgiveness you were hoping for.
Were it a wife, husband or significant other I would trust that they love me unconditionally and would be capable of forgiveness even if I were afraid they weren't.
I'm lucky enough that my family KNOWS the value of family. Forgiveness comes easily when it comes to family.
True friends understand that we aren't any more perfect than they are. They are bound to be at least as forgiving as they believe we would be, were the shoe on the other foot.
The Creator, in his perfection, is all forgiving. Trust in God's eternal Grace.
The key is forgiving Yourself.
I'm sorry means I know I was wrong and I'll try not to let it happen again. With that definition, if you are truly sorry and seeking forgiveness from whomever, you will have learned how to avoid that mistake in the future.

The easy way > Forgive and Forget.
The normal way > Wait a few days and Ask for Forgiveness.
The hard way > Forgiveness is not enough. Use the rest of your life as your forgiveness.

I believe there are only 2 things that aren't forgivable, 1being suicide, obviously because you are dead and you cannot ask forgiveness of your act. 2 blasphemy of the holy spirit because it says so in the bible. You obviously didn't commit suicide because you asked this question. I really hope that you didn't blaspheme the holy spirit.

Ask forgiveness anyway. Even if you don't get it, to own up to your wrongdoing & being remorseful would give you some small sense of relief. If you hurt someone, ask their forgiveness, ask God's (or whatever deity you believe in if any) & above all ask yourself or it eats away at you & destroys you...
