i believe you can terminate or cancel the addreses if you go into edit account

if you just left the account alone for 3 months, it'll be automatically terminated or shutdown, but your id will still be valid, like nobody can start using it even after ur done with the account.

Suzie, do you use Outlook Express or Outlook? Seems that by default, every time you answer an e-mail, that person's e-mail address is automatically put into your address book. If this is the case, here's what you do to prevent this from happening again. Open Outlook. Hit the tools button at top, go down the list and click on options at bottom. Now click on the Send tab and finally uncheck the box that says automatically put people that I reply to in my address book. As for the unwanted addresses that are already in your address book, click on the address to select it and then hit either the delete key on your keyboard or the delete button in your address book. Unfortunately, if you have Yahoo mail, I can't help you. :-((
