newsprint paper is cheaper to buy, print nad also recycled.
bleached white paper (ie. bond or typing paper) is much more expensive to buy, use, sell and partly recycled.

it's not just financial papers, its all newspapers

With the dotcom burst, people involved were issued with the pink slips meaning the person has lost the job. Ever since financial newspapers started using pink colour meaning if you follow their advice you would get pink slips from the stock exchanges.
