I'd classify myself as a liberal, and I sure as hell don't want to destroy the country from within. I don't think conservatives want to destroy the country either. I do happen to think that some of today's conservatives are so focused on their personal agendas that they would (and have) sacrifice the well being of our country to realize those agendas.

Let's not get stupid about people who have different opinions that us. They are not necessarily our enemies. That should be obvious to a thinking individual who has invested more than 2 seconds of thought into the matter.

Oh, and nice use of "cut and run" there, to prove beyond any doubt that you are spouting borrowed opinions.

I believe extremism form both side is bad. Not just from liberals, but from extreme right wingers as well and comparing liberals with terrorist isn’t right. They’re just as patriotic as conservatives with a different point of view. Although your question reminds me of how the once powerful Roman Empire crumbled. (From Within.)

You need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilley and start thinking for yourself. Why would liberals actually want to destroy the U.S. from within? They live here too. They may have different ideas than you about what is best for our country, but they don't want to destroy it.

I guess the Republicans are the ones keeping us safe? I got to tell you, I was scared out of my mind that the Iraqi's were going to rob/beat/kill me...... Thank God that problem was solved.

Our economy stinks, we are in a meaningless war, we have stopped looking for the person responsible because it was too hard to do.......

I'm a liberal and I don't want to destroy anything.

that's a pretty ignorant statement. just because liberals have different opinions than you doesn't mean we want to destroy the us. stop generalizing us.

You are sadly misinformed. I'm considered liberal, but you'd be hard pressed to find a more patriotic person than myself where I live.

Seems like they just don't want to admit that the world is a dangerous place.
