ive been friends with a guy for quite some time now, and we've been pretty close. I liked him for a while and it's been a diaster for me on the inside. he's in college and im in high school. he's like the perfect guy. good looking great personality. athletic and involved. problem is, he's older. and we also go to the same youth group at church. i know it's wrong to go to church and be liking one of your "brothers" so i've been ignoring and stoped hanging out with him and talking to him as much. it's really frustrating for me to be in this situation because my friends think that he might like me too, but onthe inside, i really don't want to like him. (because, it's not how its supposed to be) so what do i do now??? it's really confuusing and frustrating!!

Is there some rule I'm not aware of regarding dating or enjoying the company of another Youth Group member? I don't think there is. Just relax and be his friend. This is a wholesome atmosphere to meet potential friends to date. I think you're worrying about nothing, really. If he's that great and likes you too, just meet him for lunch or something so you two can talk without the pressure of the "group" around you. It will work out fine. Godloveya!
