happiness is not relying on other people to make a difference in your life. knowing that you are content with you are and the decisions you make in life, without the fear of having to answer to another person. happiness is not necessarily the absence of sadness. you cannot truly understand the meaning of happiness until you have encountered the bottom depths of sadness
