Obviously, staying at the casin's hotel is the most convenient but it can also be expensive, even with a discount. The closest large town is Norwich, CT so you might also try finding hotels around there. You'd have a 10 - 15 minute drive to the casino.

Stay at the Hyatt in Uncasville. Acouple of miles from the Casino and they have bus transport there and back for free. Nice hotel and free breakfast too!
