I am a 21 year old male college student that is diabetic, 5'10" 180 pounds. Lately when I have been going out with friends, I perspire so much that my clothes are completely soaked within minutes and you can see it dripping off my face. My sugar levels have been perfect. I have played sports ever since I was little, except for the past few years and have never perspired nearly as much. I also live in DE and right now the temperatures are moderate compared to what they can be in the summer. Also during certain situations, maybe during high anxiety times my leg muscles seem to lock up and it is hard to move my hips and bend my knees. Like i said I am in pretty good shape and this has never happened to me before. These symptoms started about a week ago and it is becoming very annoying. Especially when your friends notice and ask if something is wrong. Could it be another disease? is there anyway to prevent my legs from locking up and minimize my perspiration? Thanks a lot.

it could be medicine or it could be that situation where you get excessive sweating and they can treat that, do you get enough vitamine K, the lack of that causes muscle pains and such. see your doctor

You're lacking sodium (salt) which retains water in the body. You may also have a high potassium level. Get a blood panel done by your doctor - you could also try salt tablets sold over the counter at all pharmacies. It should reduce your perspiration and it will definitely reduce the leg cramping.

You need more salt in your diet..this will help you hold onto your fluids more rather than releasing them so easily through sweat..cramping is caused by dehydration which is what is happening to you so drink plenty of liquids..sports drinks are great for this but check with your doctor as I am not a diabetic.
Avoid alcohol.

about the perspire part i dont kno. but about ur legs locking up, wut do u mean by this? is it like a charlie horse? because the stuff that happns to me somtimes feels like the worst imaginable pain in my muscles but it only happens for like 5 seconds.i herd that this happens somtimes cuz u might have gotten laid or "stimulated the sex organ" and the day after u might be exercising and if u strain ur leg too much then this could happen
