Not to be insensitive, but this kind of thing happens all over the globe every day.
What makes us so special?
Life goes on, get over it.

Not only that, but there doesn't seem to be anything new. Every year it's the same bla bla bla for a week before and a week after. And it's EVERYWHERE.... I don't feel like I'm really insensitive, but I'm afraid to say it to people. Gosh-it's 5 years and it's boring as heck. Please, can we move on?

What are you? No honorable human being could possibly not feel for those who lost their loved ones. I also feel great remorse for all who have lost their lives since time began. What do you think Memorial Day is about. I make a big deal about visiting my parents and ancestors at the cemetery several times a year and when I do I guess the tears I shed could fit in your category of whining. You sorry excuse for a human being!!!!!! I bet your the kind that no one respects along with some others that answered your question. Your nothing but a bunch of inhumane punks that know nothing about history.

I am not whining.
just taking a survey.

if you worked for a government agency you would know that we are at hightened alert because it is the anniversary of 9/11.

it's also the American thing to do, to remember those that died and to appreciate the great country we live in.

It's most unfortunate that you didn't get enough love in your childhood so that you must mar the memory of all the 9/11 victims , just to get attention .This is not the place or time .Your whining is uncalled for .

How do you figure that this happens everyday? Are you Muslim? This doesn't happen everyday you cruel, insensitive, sick individual. Life goes on? Were you trapped in that building with no where to go, wondering if you were going to make it out alive?

i think remembering those that died is fine but not making a huge deal out of the rest of the stuff. life is important...not the buildings.

to those that think 9/11 was a horrible tragedy and everything, wasn't that the objective of those that did it? maybe giving it this much attention only makes their plan more of a success?

think a little and just think of those that died, not what happened.

It is too much.

News media loves to waste a lot of air time to this kind of things.

I agree, not be insensitive, but I think in other countries this much would never happened, just watch Spain or London.

Sometimes I wonder if the TV stations have something to show besides tragedies?

Why do they ENJOY showing "breaking news", "developing story", treating TERRORISM, WAR, SAVE THE WORLD, USA THE POLICE OF THE WORLD, etc.

I guess they're sick.

I haven't heard any whining, just discussion and remembering. You are the one who needs to get over it.
